BNW2 contains a total of 100 rooms across 26 exits, with 13 exits for Any% (no secrets/palaces). Most levels are 5-7 rooms in length. Just like its predecessor, BNW2 is a showcase of glitches that exist within Super Mario World engine. Some of these glitches (commonly found in "Kuso" hacks) can be extremely precise and require frame-perfect inputs. My intent was to make the execution of glitches as simple as possible while still being challenging and fun. Though the custom ASM & graphics prevent BNW2 from being a completely "vanilla" hack, the glitch tech involved *is* vanilla and can be reproduced in the base game.

This started off as a low effort vanilla project, where the author would make each level in a day. But the author liked the levels so much I decided to put more effort into it.

A hack full of short levels and silly ideas.

Panga's Kaizo Kindergarten (For Dummies) is a ROMhack/mod of Super Mario World by PangaeaPanga. It is design to be a beginner level kaizo hack, teaching the basics of the advanced movements required to play other games of this genre of ROMhacks.

Grand Poo World is a ROM hack of Super Mario World created by Barbarian. The ROM hack was dedicated to Grand POOBear, who is best known as a speedrunner and Twitch streamer. This hack is designed to challenge even the most skilled Super Mario World Kaizo players. This hack features customized music and palettes over a more vanilla SMW style.

Invictus is a ROM hack/mod of Super Mario World by juzcook. It is a chocolate kaizo hack with a touch of vanilla that will challenge even the most experienced players. It aims to be fun, whilst remaining difficult albeit fair.

Baron of Shell is an expert-difficulty Kaizo hack of Super Mario World focused on shell physics.

Grand Poo World II is a ROM hack of Super Mario World created by Barbarian. This is a sequel to Grand Poo World and the series is dedicated to Twitch streamer, Grand POOBear.

This hack represents the humble efforts of a foreigner to pay tribute to the Japanese hacks that thrilled and delighted him when he first took to romhacking. VIP and OTL; Kaizo and Kouhai; SUI and SIG--these and many others caught and held my imagination, and their influence is obvious in this hack (and I have tried to acknowledge my sources whenever possible). But, as always, the line between tribute and theft is a difficult one not to cross. It may be that the ghosts of old hacks and levels will resent the violence done to their mortal remnants. I am prepared for that.
