Discrete Orange is a puzzle-platformer featuring a one-of-a-kind gameplay mechanic. The action unfolds in a discrete, turn-based world, where all movement is non-continuous. Answering the call for adventure and their love of sweets, a cute little Orange embarks on a mission to refill its chocolate stash, scattered across 20 puzzle-filled levels. In this world, enemies and platforms only move when the Orange moves, turning each step into a strategic and fun challenge.

But don't worry, you can count on allies like Fairies and Magical Seagulls to come to your help! Micro Mages is an homage to NES-era platformers. Being a homebrew NES game itself, it was made completely from scratch. We carefully distilled the spirit of the best games in the system's library, all the while drawing inspiration from the modern and putting our own spin on things, creating an experience like no other on the NES.

The project involves significant changes in the story to create an original plot, as well as improvements to the game engine, the addition of new elements and improvements to the controls, changes in the levels, characters and enemies, and modifications to the music. Although the project is still in its early stages of development, I hope to work on it until it becomes a completely new and complete game.
