Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire for Game Boy Color is a side-scrolling action-adventure game based on the 2001 animated film. Players guide members of the Atlantis expedition through 15 levels featuring platforming, combat, environmental hazards, and boss encounters. Different characters, including Milo, Audrey, Mole, and Vinny, each have distinct abilities that help them overcome obstacles and progress through the levels.

Based on the Casper film, the game pits you in the role of the friendly ghost trying to make a friend and a second chance at life instead of scaring everyone away. The plot centers around the "spoiled, grasping inheritor of Whipstaff Manor" - Carrigan Crittenden. She's after the treasure she thinks is hidden in the walls.
