Mega Man Star Force 2 blends a unique formula of RPG exploration elements with fast-paced action, as players travel and battle between coexisting worlds, the physical world and the virtual Wave World, to unravel the mystery around this new troublemaker.

Mega Man Star Force returns in the most thrilling series adventure yet, delivering totally upgraded and cutting-edge online communication and device customization technologies through a portable RPG adventure that is brought to life in the iconic, action-driven Mega Man way! New to the series are "Noise Changes," random enhancements that change Mega Man's form and unlock new abilities. There are more than 100 transformations possible. Mega Man Star Force 3 will be available in two versions, Red Joker and Black Ace, each with their own unique Noise Types. Mega Man Star Force 3 blends a unique formula of RPG exploration elements with fast-paced action, as players travel and battle between coexisting worlds, the physical world and the virtual Wave World. Players will encounter enemies in the virtual Wave World and battle them on three-by-five battle grids with their Battle Card deck. Mega Man Star Force 3 also adds a new feature called "Rezon," which allow players to fill in profiles about battles and their team name/symbol.

Though cyber worlds and NetNavis still exist in Star Force, human dependency on them has greatly decreased, and people no longer have Navi companions. instead relying on Transers. Three large satellites orbiting the Earth—Pegasus, Leo, and Dragon—power the EM Wave World that exists around the Earth's atmosphere, keeping the world networked. While the EM Wave World is normally invisible to the human eye, a special piece of eyewear called the Visualizer (possessed by the series's main protagonist) allows a human to see this other world. However, like with the cyber worlds of Battle Network, EM Wave Viruses inhabit the EM Wave World, causing problems in everyday life.

Sega Genesis Collection features over 30 titles including, Altered Beast, Sonic The Hedgehog, Shinobi III, Phantasy Star, and the original Sega Genesis version of Golden Axe. Sega Genesis Collection also features numerous unlockable items that delve into the soul of the Genesis including interviews with the original developers that created the games featured in the collection, a museum area with interesting facts about the games, a hint area to help gamers complete their favorite Sega Genesis games, and Sega arcade games from the Genesis era.

It is based on the Bakugan anime season, Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia. The new battle mode uses a new fighting engine similar to that of a Tower Defense game.
