MLB PENNANT RACE offers players a choice between an Arcade mode that allows players to throw pitches unhindered by the laws of physics, or Sim mode where everything is more realistic. Fans of old-school baseball games like RBI BASEBALL or other arcade titles will feel right at home with the quick and exciting control of the arcade version. In both modes there are a wealth of stats for gamers to peruse and study, and the obligatory Playoff and World Series mode as well as Quick Play, Season and Home Run Derby can also be found. Or you can take on a friend in the Versus mode and find out who is going to take the pennant home.

FIFA Soccer 64 delivers the intensity and drama of international soccer to the Nintendo 64. You can choose from 150 national and club teams and develop your tactics and strategies in a friendly match. And when the time comes, try to win a Tournament. If you like something more substantial than tournament play, try to win a Season and become a league champion, or skip straight to the Playoffs. Realistic baseball simulation is the name of the game in MLB 2002. Choose a team and lead your squad through a grueling, 162-game regular season, into the Playoffs, and straight to the World Series. All of the Major League teams, stadiums, and players are packed in here, with more than 300 motion-capture animations providing for extremely realistic play. They consulted over a dozen popular big leaguers in the construction of the game, yielding more than 250 signature moves and accurate player personalities. Take your pick from eight different styles of play, including Full Season, Playoffs, and a Franchise mode that casts you as the team's GM and lets you control all of the front office maneuvering. Hall of Fame announcer Vin Scully provides all of the play-by-play action, and Dave Campbell tags along doing color commentary. From the first pitch to the World Series-saving catch made in deep right field to close out the season, MLB 2002 is a complete baseball package.

All 28 Major League Baseball parks, 3D-modeled and with slick intro cinematics for each showing the camera flying down into the park from above. Informative play-by-play color commentary. Multiplayer with up to 8 players is possible with two Multitaps on the PlayStation version or up to 6 players on the PC version via modem connection or Gravis gamepads. Gameplay modes include Exhibition, Series, All-Star, Playoffs, Season, and Home Run Derby.

MLB '06: The Show is a baseball video game for PlayStation 2 and PSP. The game was produced by Sony Computer Entertainment, primarily by SCE's San Diego Studio, which was formerly known as 989 Sports. It was the only first-party MLB-licensed video game for the 2006 season drawing attention to the brand and franchise. The game was one of two MLB-licensed games for 2006 along with Major League Baseball 2K6.

All-Star Baseball 2000 is the second release in the series and includes a range of improvements and new features compared to the '99 version. Motion captured technology allows a realistic representation of player movements, swings, throws and catches. Apart from the improved roster management, which includes the ability to sign players from the minor league and create new players with new stats, you are able to play a 162 game inter-league season or complete the 1999 MLB scheduled season. Once more there are 30 teams available in the game, as well as home stadiums and home or away jerseys. Additionally players' face sizes and play styles coincide with the real ones, since the game is licensed.
