Dragon Warrior IV differs from the rest of the series by breaking up the game into five distinct chapters, each of which focuses on a different protagonist or protagonists. Neon Genesis Evangelion: Girlfriend of Steel, also known as Neon Genesis Evangelion: Iron Maiden, is a video game based on the Gainax anime/manga series Neon Genesis Evangelion, released officially only in Japan for the PlayStation, Sega Saturn, PlayStation 2, PSP, Windows (PC), and Macintosh. On January 20, 2005 a sequel was released titled "Neon Genesis Evangelion: Girlfriend of Steel 2nd" for the Playstation 2, and while it does feature much of the cast of the original game, the story is unrelated to the original's.

Pokemon Platinum is a role-playing game with adventure elements and an enhanced version of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. Played from a top-down perspective, it has the player explore the Sinnoh region across towns, routes, and caves, catching and training Pokemon and battling them in turn-based combat. The core goals involve building a team, challenging Gym Leaders, and completing the Pokedex. This version adds new areas, expanded online features for trading and battling, and gives the Legendary Pokemon Giratina and its Distortion World a central role. It connects with other games in the generation to trade and transfer Pokemon.

The Legend of the Mystical Ninja is a light-hearted action-adventure game for 1-2 players by Konami, and was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1991. It is the first game in the Japanese video game series Ganbare Goemon to have a Western release. It underwent several changes compared to its Japanese counterpart Ganbare Goemon: Yukihime Kyuushutsu Emaki. The protagonists were renamed for the Western release, and some content was altered to comply with Nintendo’s strict censorship policies at the time, such as the removal of certain characters and cutscenes.

The Final Fantasy Legend series continues! In this classic RPG adventure, you are on a quest to reunite with your father. In order to find your father, you must travel far and wide to find the scattered fragments of a mystical force, known as Magi. Your quest takes you to several mysterious lands filled with caves, temples, enemy bases, ancient Japanese castles, and much more. Many of the worlds are filled with quirky inhabitants, such as the world of giants. Another world praises beauty but banishes ugliness. You can choose four heroes to accompany you in your journey. Choose from humans, robots, and even monsters. As the game progresses, you will encounter additional characters that may join your party.

He's captured Mario and his friends in his pursuit of a crystal that the group collected when it fell from the sky, and he doesn't hesitate to shrink them to miniature size to get rid of them and get his hands on the other four crystals. The mini-heroes have to find the crystals before he does, making their way through giant environments filled with enormous creatures. The single-player campaign takes place in five different settings, each of them ending with a boss. As usual, players have to collect coins and stars, at the same time escaping dangers such as Piranha Plants and other classic creatures from the Mario universe.
