Evergreen Avenue is a Visual Novel released on PlayStation in 2001. Choosing either a male (Catan) or female (Ira) character, you must help each of the seven spirits learn the ways of human life by scheduling sessions with them each week and playing mini-games to determine your effectiveness. Events will pop up from time to time, where you have personal conversations with the various spirits or with your rival. At the end of each month, you are graded in comparison with your rival, and you must sufficiently educate the spirits by the time six months have passed.

In a super elitist school, the students are taught to believe in three things, friendship, wisdom and competition. Every year, the students of the school compete to become the student union body president, and these competitions are often more than intense. You need not enter the fray alone, though, as the school encourages friendship. You are allowed to form an ally with another student. The goal of the game is to conquer your opponents to become the student union body president and at the same time, develop a romance with your partner. This dating simulation game is based loosely on the rules of Monopoly. The player gets fifty turns to spin the roulette and proceed along the grid and build up their reputation. Depending on their reputation, they can acquire land and other properties, the better they utilize their reputation, the better chances they have in being elected president. You can choose any of the eight main characters as the protagonist and go after the characters of the opposite sex.

A coastal town called "South Aose" surrounded by the sea and mountains is a place where lots of nature still remains. Two normal high school students go to a school in this town. The story starts in the special winter of the 3rd year of school when these two protagonists meet.

You can choose between a male and female protagonist, and play as a doll/puppet maker who's about to starve to death on Chirstmas Eve due to the inability to make a "pinocchia", a doll that looks and acts like a real human being (but isn't truly alive), and make enough money to feed yourself. As you slip into unconsciousness, you plead to any higher being that's listening to grant you a pinocchia, willing to give your life in exchange.... and wake up the next morning, with a "new-born" pinocchia in your hands.
