Desperado 21991

Sunset Riders is a side-scrolling run and gun video game developed and released by Konami in 1991. It is set in the American Old West, where the players take control of bounty hunters who are seeking the rewards offered for various criminals. Each bad guy has a big reward on his head, and they're helped by hordes of bandits, gunslingers, and horse thieves, so pack loads of lead.

Bandits are holding up a bank and have taken people hostage, and as a gunslinger, it's your job to shoot them. The bank has 12 doors, and the bandits are behind each one of them. When they pull a gun out at you when you open a door, you have only a few seconds to shoot them before they shoot you. If you shoot them too early (ie: before he sticks his gun out at you), it is considered unfair, and you won't score any points, but if you're too late, he'll shoot you and you lose one of your three lives. If you waste too much time, a bandit will come out from one of the doors and stick dynamite on it. You must then shoot the dynamite to get rid of it. If you're lucky, either a man or a woman will throw you a bag of gold coins. If you shoot any of these people by accident, you also lose a life. More often than not, the person will throw his/her hands up, saying "I haven't got anything". That's when they will be replaced by bandits. Some men will carry three to five pieces of gold on top of their heads, and shooting at all of the gold will award you with a bag of gold coins. Others will be tied up with rope. If you shoot the rope, there's more money for you, because not only will you receive one bag of gold coins, but you'll get three bags of gold coins.

Old west theme shoot-out. Using simple graphics, two cowboys one on the left and one on the right move up down, left and right trying to get a clear shot avoiding cactus at the other.

Express Raider was produced by Data East in 1986.

Los Justicieros is a video game created by Dinamic Multimedia in 1996 as a version of the recreational game Los Hermanos Zorton . It is the first, and so far only (apart from the game Corruption in Marbella , which was only distributed in recreational) Spanish interactive film . It was produced by PicMatic SA and Snatcho . The game was a revolution at the time to be entirely composed of real scenes shot in the desert of Almeria and directed by the director Enrique Urbizu . It counted on specialists of cinema in charge of the falls, persecutions and explosions.

A rope type animal catching game.

Pioneer Balloon was an odd, though enjoyable, game in which the player piloted a hot-air balloon over a southwest landscape while dropping bombs on wagon trains and Native American villages before landing in a fort. The weird part came via the games many anachronistic (or downright bizarre) elements. The “Native Americans” lived in huts and hurled boomerangs (in the Wild West?). An even stranger enemy was a series of killer waterspouts (in the Wild West??). Strangest of all was a stage involving a series of islands populated by hopping-mad giant, yellow apes (in the Wild West???).

Gold Rush is a 1-player wild west themed arcade game for the Apple II. The player controls a small character who can move in the 4 cardinal directions. The player moves about a small wild west-themed screen, with the goal of excavating gold from the four mines on the left of the screen. The player arrives via railroad at the right of the screen at the beginning of the game, with the goal is to pick up sticks of dynamite, and place them next to the four mine shafts on the left. The player must avoid Native Americans near their teepees and soldiers guarding their fort. There is also a dangerous grizzly bear who can take the player's life. Claim jumpers haunt the mining sites, and like to return the player to their starting zone.
