The player controls 19-year-old Toranosuke Rokujō, an aimless college student who has no idea what he wants out of life. After meeting up with a group of his high-school classmates, he decides it's time to get his life in order, find a job, and find a girlfriend within the next year.
A graduate student from Shiomidai Highschool, Toranosuke-kun, came back to the town a year later. After attending the class reunion with his old friends, he decided that he has to do something about his future... What does he really want to do? Based on the path that he will choose from now on, his life is probably going to change.

While the typical visual novel gameplay consisting of dialogues and story branching choices are there, the game also puts emphasis on character's stats building which may help you get the girl of your choice, or be rejected due to lack thereof. The game features 10 different heroines, namely Saki, Rina, Izumi, Sayaka, Mami, Hanano, Yukino, Mizuho, Adelade, and Momoji, each with different hobbies and interests that you will have to try and match in order to make them take interest in you. The story progresses through calendar days where you can schedule things to do to increase your stats, visit various locations and talk to girls you meet during event scenes.

Choosing either a male (Catan) or female (Ira) character, you must help each of the seven spirits learn the ways of human life by scheduling sessions with them each week and playing mini-games to determine your effectiveness. Events will pop up from time to time, where you have personal conversations with the various spirits or with your rival. At the end of each month, you are graded in comparison with your rival, and you must sufficiently educate the spirits by the time six months have passed.

Sakura Taisen 1 & 2 (also known as Sakura Wars 1 & 2) is a dramatic adventure game compilation of "Sakura Taisen" (1996) and "Sakura Taisen 2 ~Thou Shalt Not Die~" (1998) for the PlayStation Portable released exclusively in Japan. A "Taishō Roman" story featuring lavish visuals, music, and voice acting, both timeless Sega Saturn masterpieces depict the battle between the Imperial Combat Revue and a great evil set in the Imperial Capital. Both games have been readjusted for widescreen and are compacted on a single UMD. While publishers attempted to release the game overseas, Sony Computer Entertainment America rejected the proposal due to the game's visual novel format and difficulties in localization and licensing.

Policenauts is an interactive movie/graphic novel/adventure game with a hard science fiction storyline, written and directed by Hideo Kojima, and published by Konami. It was initially released for the PC-9821 computer platform in 1994, followed by remade versions for the 3DO in 1995, and the PlayStation and Sega Saturn in 1996. The game has never been officially released outside Japan, despite plans for an English localization of the Saturn version. On August 24, 2009 (in honor of the 46th birthday of the game designer, Hideo Kojima), an unofficial English translation patch was released onto the internet. The game is set in a primarily first person perspective and uses a point-and-click interface: the player can move the cursor and have the protagonist (Jonathan Ingram) analyze objects around his environment or talk to other characters in the game. Like in Snatcher, the game features shooting segments where the player must defend their character from incoming enemies. The player can use the shooting trainer at the police department to test their reflex and accuracy. There are numerous puzzles in the game, including an event where the player must dismantle a bomb by following their partner's instructions. The console versions of the game all include support for their respective mouse peripherals. The Saturn version features light gun support for the shooting segments. The game was notable for being an early example of extensive voice recording in video games. It also featured a theme revolving around space exploration and occasional full-motion video cut scenes. The gameplay was largely similar to Snatcher, but with the addition of a point-and-click interface and some first-person shooter segments. Policenauts also introduced summary screens, which act to refresh the player's memory of the plot upon reloading a save, an element Kojima would later use in Metal Gear Solid. The PlayStation version of Policenauts could also read the memory card and give some easter egg dialogues if a save file of Konami's dating sim Tokimeki Memorial is present, a technique Kojima would also later use in Metal Gear Solid.
