

This version of Final Fantasy IV released as part of Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection includes many of the features introduced in the Advance version such as the Bestiary, Music Player and bonus dungeons, whilst also incorporating a number of changes and features exclusive to other ports. The opening FMV returns from the 3D Remake's Nintendo DS port as well as new 3D cinematic cutscenes. There is an option to switch between the original Super Famicom or the arranged 3D Remake versions of the soundtrack. It also includes an auto-battle feature for the first time as well as other gameplay changes. An Art Gallery containing illustrations by Yoshitaka Amano has also been added.

The fighting system in Tobal 2 is the same as in the previous game. The player can freely navigate 3D fighting arenas under the condition that he or she faces the opponent. High, medium, and low attacks can be executed using assigned buttons. As in Tobal No. 1, the grappling and blocking system offers the player a variety of offensive and defensive maneuvers. A new unblockable fireball attack has been added for each character. Tobal 2 was released on the same day as Sony's Dual Analog Controller in Japan, noted as the first game compatible with the peripheral. Graphically, the game features Gouraud shaded and higher-resolution character models compared to Tobal No. 1, but still runs at 60 frames per second.

An enhanced port of Chrono Trigger that adds anime cutscenes and an exclusive Extras Mode. It is also known for having significantly longer load times in comparison to the original SNES version. Extras Mode is an option in the main menu that let players view cutscenes and artwork, listen to music, and view information about techs, enemies, bosses, endings, and item locations. It was first released for PlayStation in Japan before it came to North America as part of the Final Fantasy Chronicles compilation.

In Summon Night: Swordcraft 2, the player is an orphan from the Colthearts clan raised by a Craftknight (a smith/warrior). The character aspires to be a Craftknight as well. The player character, either Edgar Colthearts or Aera Colthearts, who are Edge Fencers, find themselves at the site of an abandoned ruin where a violent Summon Beast named Goura is awakened. In order to protect their new family, Edgar/Aera is bound to a wild Summon Beast (stray summon) and embarks on a journey to reseal the ruins.
