

Maboroshi Tsukiyo is an adventure game released for the Dreamcast and Playstation consoles, in which the player takes the role of Takashi Tanaka (the player can choose another name) that one summer evenight he meet the ghost of a girl in the park, and the ghost girl start living with him in his appartment. The first night the girl appears to one of Takashi friends and the girl vanished after seeing the ghost, the ghost can enter other people's bodies too...
So that's when the adventure begins since after that the player will start meeting the different girls and the only gameplay is choosing between different answers that will lead the story in a way or another. The game features different endings depending of the player choices during the game. The game features also japanese voice acting, unlockable CG galleries, character profiles, places stats and % of the advanced that the player had advanced in the game with each character.

During the game the player will meet different people (specially girls and if you become friends of them their territories will join your kingdom). The game is divided into 2 different kinds: A strategy part in which the player choose what have to be done in the town (cut trees, build new buildings, harvest, loan money, etc.) and the quests part that will give you money or meet new people that will open other quests. In the quests the battle part is a turn based rpg style, since the player can choose what their character will do in each turn. During the game the town will grow and also will grow the population with new buildings like a school, a hospital or a museum. The game features 17 different female characters to become friend or even lovers, depending of the player actions there are different endings.
