Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet is a continuation of the video game Marvel Super Hero Squad and it was released on November 16, 2010. Similar to the first game, it features cartoonish Super-deformed versions of the Marvel Comics characters, as seen in the Marvel Super Hero Squad toy line, as well as the television show.
In this playful, cartoonish take on the Marvel universe, a routine shopping trip goes hilariously sideways. While Hulk and Iron Man are out in space hunting for the perfect birthday boots for Thor, a mix-up lands them aboard the ship of the mad titan Thanos, just as he takes possession of the fearsome Infinity Gauntlet. Realizing the danger, the two heroes race back to the Helicarrier and sound the alarm: if Thanos gathers all of the scattered Infinity Stones, his power will become unstoppable. And so the Super Hero Squad springs into action. Teaming up in pairs, beloved heroes like Spider-Man, Wolverine, Thor, She-Hulk, Falcon, and the Invisible Woman fan out across the galaxy and beyond, from Asgard to the Negative Zone, to recover the precious gems before their enemies can. Standing in their way is a rogues' gallery of villains, all scheming to claim the Gauntlet's cosmic might for themselves.
