Probotector is the European port of Contra: Hard Corps. It changes the main characters and enemies into robots.

Shooter / Platform / Action / Science fiction
This is the Family Computer (Famicom) port of Contra. Even if the American and the Japanese port look similar and share the same art style and engine, the Japanese version has added content, with more animations in the backgrounds, new cheat codes and, most importantly, story cutscenes explaining the plot of the game.

Shooter / Platform / Action / Fantasy
The game centers around the main character of Apollo who progresses through the game in an alternating format that switches between platform, side-scrolling action and side-scrolling shooter action. The goal of the series is, stereotypically, to destroy an evil boss Goruza, rescue a princess (in this case, Princess Maria) and save the planet.

Shooter / Action / Science fiction
Probotector is the European port of Contra (NES), which changes the main characters and enemies into robots. It was made based on the American version of the game, with the cutscenes changed accordingly.

Shooter / Action / Science fiction
Probotector 2 is the European port of Contra: The Alien Wars (Game Boy). It changes the main characters and enemies into robots.

Shooter / Action / Science fiction
Probotector II Is the European port of Super C (NES). Like in the original game, the main characters and enemies were changed to robots.

Shooter / Platform / Action / Science fiction
Super Probotector: Alien Rebels is the European port of Contra III: The Alien Wars. It changes the main characters and enemies into robots, like the previous Probotector ports.

Shooter / Action / Science fiction
The Japanese and European versions are nearly identical, but the American version changes the game's plot by adding an opening text that establishes the game to be set inside a giant alien life-form which is infected by a strain of bacteria. Stages that feature starfield backgrounds were changed to the web background from Stage 1 to maintain consistency with the organic setting of the plot. The power-ups are also given different names, with the "Speed-Up" becoming "Hyper Speed", the "Missile" becoming the "Destruct Missile", the "Ripple Laser" becoming the "Pulse Laser" and "Force Field" becoming the "Shield". Narration is added to the beginning of each stage, detailing the area of the alien's body which the player is currently inhabiting such as "Enter stomach muscle zone" or "Bio-mechanical brain attack".

Shooter / Platform / Puzzle / Action / Fantasy
A 3-player top-down arcade game where one player controls one of three unidentified ghost-busters. The game is based off of The Real Ghostbusters cartoon, rather than strictly off the movie franchise. The player can choose between a red, yellow or blue-jumpsuited character though all have the same abilities. These powers include an energy gun that transforms a hostile monster into a harmless, basic ghost, which are then captured using the proton beam. Other abilities are an invincibility field and the ability to summon Slimer to absorb attacks instead of the player. In Japan the game is known as Meikyuu Hunter G, but bears little resemblance to the western version as it did not use the Ghostbusters license.
