At the age of nine, Megumi is an aggressive boy prone to always fighting. One day he saves a strange man from a gang of other children. In return, Megumi receives a magical book. After accidentally bleeding on the book, a genie named Pierrot appears and offers to grant him a wish. Megumi wishes to become a strong man's man. Pierrot, a trickster, inadvertently turns Megumi into a woman. Megumi, furious, throws the book into the riverbank. Believing the only way to reverse the spell is to retrieve the book, Megumi begins a 6-year-long search but is told that she can find the book if she attends Furinkan High School.

Neon Genesis Evangelion: Girlfriend of Steel, also known as Neon Genesis Evangelion: Iron Maiden, is a video game based on the Gainax anime/manga series Neon Genesis Evangelion, released officially only in Japan for the PlayStation, Sega Saturn, PlayStation 2, PSP, Windows (PC), and Macintosh. On January 20, 2005 a sequel was released titled "Neon Genesis Evangelion: Girlfriend of Steel 2nd" for the Playstation 2, and while it does feature much of the cast of the original game, the story is unrelated to the original's.

Tenchi Muyō! Tōkō Muyō is an anime-like visual novel with constant video clips and CG events featuring full voice-acting for dialogues and Tenchi's thoughts without text-only descriptions whatsoever. The game uses autoplay feature and doesn't wait for you to press button to progress the dialogues, although they can be skipped. At certain moments player's actions let you affect the course of dialogues, but it does not affect an overall ending. The story centers on school love of Tenchi Masaki filled with love troubles. Key heroines from anime series, namely Ryoko, Aeka and Sasami are also present in the story. Sega Saturn release came out several months after the original PlayStation release, but this package includes: Tenchi Muyō! Tenchi Muyō! Mimiri Onsen: Yukemuri no Tabi is an adventure game based on the Tenchi Muyo anime series. The game is fully-voiced, not including even a dialogue display or subtitles, and progresses as is standard for Japanese adventure games. In each scene, the player can inspect various parts of the scene, move between locations, and talk to each of Tenchi's companions, with the story generally progressing after all relevant options have been exhausted. There are ten different endings depending on the player's choices and who they decide to talk to.
