Infinite Space, a role playing game exclusively for the Nintendo DS portable handheld system, takes place in outer space and gives players the ability to control, build, outfit and customize more than 150 spaceships. Infinite Space stretches the DS hardware to the limit, offering over 200 characters and the ability to control multiple spaceships at any one time. Releasing in 2009 and currently being produced by Atsushi Inaba and directed by Hifumi Kouno (from developer Nude Maker), Infinite Space is one of the most complex RPG titles developed for the DS to date, and shows PlatinumGames commitment to teaming up with the most creative minds in gaming.

The Sims 2 for PlayStation Portable delivers a unique third-person experience that blends life simulation with role-playing elements, offering a more substantial storyline compared to other versions. Players navigate various goals to unlock content while customizing their pre-built homes with furniture and decor. Interactions and jobs are executed through mini-games, maintaining a dynamic gameplay flow. In this version, characters do not age, marry, or have children; however, they can pursue significant relationships and WooHoo. Goals largely dictate relationship dynamics, with close friends potentially moving in as the game progresses. As players complete objectives, their sanity meter, symbolized by a Plumbob, increases, while failing to meet goals leads to rapid depletion, resulting in hospitalization or alien abduction. Unique to this version are "Sanity Points," awarded for completing tasks to unlock special perks, and hidden "Secrets" found in Strangetown, enhancing exploration and social interaction.

RPG Tsukuuru 2 is a Satellaview-compatible Slotted Cartridge game belonging to ASCII's Tsukuuru series. The title of these games are portmanteau-word puns mixing the Japanese word tsukuru, which means "make" or "create", with tsuuru, the Japanese transcription of the English word "tool". As the title suggests, this RPG creation tool is a sequel to the earlier RPG Tsukuru. Data broadcast for this slotted cartridge also included the earlier-released RPG Tsukuuru - Super Dante.
