Many of the worlds are filled with quirky inhabitants, such as the world of giants. Another world praises beauty but banishes ugliness. You can choose four heroes to accompany you in your journey. Choose from humans, robots, and even monsters. As the game progresses, you will encounter additional characters that may join your party.

Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku II was released on June 17, 2003. The plot of the game picks up where The Legacy of Goku left off, and continues until the end of the Cell Games Saga when Gohan defeats the evil android Cell. The game introduced several new concepts to the series. The first was transformations, which allowed characters to become temporarily stronger, at the cost of slowly draining their energy. It also introduced the scouter, which allowed players to look up the stats of other characters in the game, as well as basic information about them. The game also introduced charged melee attacks, which allowed characters to unleash a powerful physical strike after a short charging period. The game also allowed characters to further supplement their stats with capsules that were scattered around the game world. Despite being titled "The Legacy of Goku" this game featured the most limited play as the character Goku. Due to the game's success, a second version was released titled Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku II International exclusive to Japan on July 23, 2004. In this version all characters were given new profile images and their names were reverted to their original Japanese. Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon R is a video game released for the Super Famicom by Bandai in 1993. It serves as a sequel to Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon. Upon starting the game, the player can choose one of 5 characters (2 can be selected for co-op). The game is divided into four levels; each level being divided further into two sub-levels. The player will fight numerous enemies, mostly consisting of default Droids based on their manga incarnations. At the end of each level, a boss must be defeated to proceed. Pressing a special button makes the character use a devastating attack that kills all lesser enemies on screen and causes significant damage to a boss character, although the use of the attack is limited. Bonus items can be picked up from the ground or found in breakable objects, usually in the form of food items that replenishes the life meter to varying degrees. Chibiusa Mode is synonymous with an "Easy Mode". Chibiusa's sprite is too short to be hit by most attacks, and the enemies are also made easier to beat. There is also bonus Battle Mode, which acts as a 1v1 arcade fighter for 2 players. Selecting this mode with only one player allows it to work as a training mode, with the other character remaining motionless.

Hagane no Renkinjutsushi: Dual Sympathy (Fullmetal Alchemist: Dual Sympathy as it is known in English) is the first in a series of Fullmetal Alchemist games to be released on Nintendo DS. A side scrolling action game, Dual Sympathy has the player manipulate alchemy skills using the stylus as you fight enemies, making use of standard attacks and special attacks based on the surrounding environment and items items located in the area. The story of the game follows the fifty one episode anime series with the same name. Connectivity bonuses can be unlocked by having the GBA Fullmetal Alchemist games in the GBA slot of the DS.
