Captain Tsubasa: New Kick Off is a soccer video game celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Captain Tsubasa series. This game covers the manga storyline from high school up to the ending of the Jr. Youth tournament.

Aoki Densetsu Shoot! is a Japanese anime produced by Toei Animation between November 9, 1990 and December 22, 1991 on the Fuji TV television network; there were fifty-eight episodes. The game has an exhibition mode, an anime-style story mode, and a variety of options, which is entirely in Japanese, so literacy in this language is strongly recommended for quality gameplay. Once the game begins, the action progresses in a side view, similar to an arcade soccer game.

This game is based on the boxing Manga and Anime series "Hajime no Ippo" created by Jyoji "George" Morikawa. It was released only in Japan. The story focuses heavily on character development, even during the matches something is learned about the fighters. Ippo and his friendly rivalry with Miyata is the main draw in the early part of the series. That later changes to Ippo's path towards the Japanese Featherweight Championship and eventually the world championship. Along the way we are given glimpses into the other side character's pasts, motivations, relationships to others and current boxing trials. This is a simulation game in which the player choose what training wants the boxer to do each month and then watch him fighting.

Released in 2002 for the PlayStation.

The fourth and last Captain Tsubasa game released on the Super Famicom. Takes its inspiration from a sequel anime series released in the 90s rather than the 80s original.
