Othello Derby is an Arcade adaptation of Othello/Reversi. The game is represented through horse racing; players choose between a white or black horse, which corresponds to their color in the game of Othello. You have the choice of three difficulties, though they all have the same set of opponents and the Medium and Hard difficulties simply start you off at the 2nd and 3rd opponents. When the race starts, the Othello board pops up and you are pitted against an animated CPU opponent. Defeat them to win the race and advance to the next, harder opponent. You only have 10 seconds to make each of your moves; if you run of out of time, the game places your piece for you.

This direct sequel to "Arc the Lad" continues the unfinished story of the first game, but starts from a totally different perspective. You control a bounty-hunter named Elk, who suffers from amnesia. On his quest for his own true identity he discovers the powers hidden within him, and the destiny of his entire tribe. While pursuing his archenemy, Elk meets up with Arc, the hero of the first game, and then both realize they have been looking to destroy the very same evil. The battle system of "Arc the Lad II" is similar to the one used in its predecessor: in battles you can move your characters on the battle field, and your proximity to the enemies plays an important role. You cause and take different amounts of damage depending on your position on the battle field. Unlike the first game, this one is a full-fledged adventure/RPG, without the "strategy" feel of the predecessor. You move through the game world on your own, visiting towns and exploring dungeons.

Setting them up in a warped time and space, Shirobon, Kurobon, and their Louie (Rui) companions must travel through stages and defeat them before going up against Emperor Terrorin himself. Super Bomberman 5, released by Hudson Soft in early 1997, was the final Bomberman game released on the Super Family Computer - the Japanese version of the SNES. The game was released in two variations: a standard cartridge and a gold cartridge, which was sold exclusively through CoroCoro Comic. The gold cartridge included extra maps in battle mode.
