

Taekwon-Do is based on the real life martial art taekwondo, using its real attacks and tournament rules. Each character (there are 19) has his own specialties and the player can create their own personalized fighter (selecting their abilities, aspect, precedence, etc...). Controlling a fighter is done by inputting controls for attacks, with the different attacks being toggled just by pressing a direction on the controller and a button (forward + B for example). There are four game modes: Tournament, V.S, Tag battle by turns, and Practice. This game offers a language selection for either Japanese or Korean.

Sougou Kakutougi: Astral Bout 2: The Total Fighters is the sequel to Sougou Kakutougi: Astral Bout and like that game features various martial arts experts competing, not unlike MMA. The game is based on a real-life Japanese martial arts TV promotion, Fighting Network Rings. WWF WrestleMania (also known on console versions as WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game) is a professional wrestling arcade game released by Midway Manufacturing Co. in 1995. It is based on the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) professional wrestling promotion. The game featured digitized representations of eight WWF performers who are pitted against each other in fast-paced matches inspired by Midway's Mortal Kombat games. Commentary is provided by Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler, who also appear in the game sitting at the announcers' table to the right of the ring. Acclaim, who published the console versions of the game, developed a follow-up, WWF in Your House for the PlayStation, Sega Saturn, and DOS.

It can be played with one or two players. In one-player mode there are 10 opponents to take on in sequence. It claimed to be the first 3D combat sports game.
