The city of Wood Oak recently experienced a catalysmic event. An experimental weapon called "Rakushin" detonated in the city's suburbs, causing the deaths of 30000 people and wounded 80000 more. Alarmed with this terrifying event, the Police Department assigns two of their top detectives, Axel Stone and Blaze Fielding, two of the heroes who saved the city in the past, to investigate the incident and bring those responsible to justice. Meanwhile, tension rises in the Lima Region, inhabited by a number of nations looking for an excuse to start a war. One of the representatives of the Lima countries, General Ivan Petrov has been invited to the White House for peace talks but now he is reported missing. Soon after these events, Axel and Blaze were contacted by a mysterious man named Gilbert Zan, who claims to be the man who invented the Rakushin. Zan claims that his research is being used by the powers who intend to use it for destructive purposes. But can he be trusted? Is the horrible attack that took place in Wood Oak City somehow connected to the conflict brewing in Lima? Why is General Petrov missing? Timing is very suspicious. Is someone using Wood Oak City as a testing ground for their new weapons? Are Lima countries potential buyers? Too many questions, too little time. Every second wasted brings the city one step closer to disaster. Lives of the citizens under your protection, and possibly, millions of others are hanging in balance.

The storyline of E.V.O.: Search for Eden follows the same patterns as modern Evolution theories. The players first controls a prehistoric sea organism, and fights to gain evolution points with which he can improve his fish's body parts and upgrade his attack/defense abilities. The gameplay is not completely linear, which means that certain choices of paths and stages will affect the player's success. The game is composed of a series of stages, in which the sea organism slowly evolves into an amphibian, and later a land-only creature. The physical changes are fairly scientifically accurate which gives the game a semi-educational purpose as well.

Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon R is a video game released for the Super Famicom by Bandai in 1993. It serves as a sequel to Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon. Upon starting the game, the player can choose one of 5 characters (2 can be selected for co-op). The game is divided into four levels; each level being divided further into two sub-levels. The player will fight numerous enemies, mostly consisting of default Droids based on their manga incarnations. At the end of each level, a boss must be defeated to proceed. Pressing a special button makes the character use a devastating attack that kills all lesser enemies on screen and causes significant damage to a boss character, although the use of the attack is limited. Bonus items can be picked up from the ground or found in breakable objects, usually in the form of food items that replenishes the life meter to varying degrees. Chibiusa Mode is synonymous with an "Easy Mode". Chibiusa's sprite is too short to be hit by most attacks, and the enemies are also made easier to beat. There is also bonus Battle Mode, which acts as a 1v1 arcade fighter for 2 players. Selecting this mode with only one player allows it to work as a training mode, with the other character remaining motionless.
