Choujikuu Yousai Macross: Ai Oboete Imasu ka is a side-scrolling 2D shooter that ties into the Macross franchise. In the game, the player takes the control of main protagonist Hikaru Ichijyo, as he battles Zentradi units on each stage. The player has two basic attacks: Gun Pod and missiles. In addition, the VF-1 Valkyrie unit controlled by the player can transform into Fighter, Gerwalk and Battroid modes during battle.

After the space pilot Vanessa Gaiden defeated the Evil Empire in the events of the game Last Hope, she got missing on her way back and wasn't heard of anymore. The player takes on the role of Golgo 13 (also known as Duke Togo), an assassin whose objective is to destroy the leader of the Drek group. On the way, Golgo 13 must pass through several areas, including East Berlin, Athens, and Alexander Island, which is located off the coast of Antarctica. It is necessary to navigate several mazes in order to win, but one maze is a fake base with no way out. The mazes account for a large amount of the frustration players encounter with this game. Alzadick is a vertical shooter released for the Summer Carnival '92 competition hosted by Naxat Soft. While it was made available for commercial release it was originally programmed as a time attack challenge for 'athletes' to earn as many points as they could in the few minutes of competittion. While the game is not long, it features stunning visuals, processing effects and a rather impressive soundtrack.
