

Melty Blood Actress Again, is the third game in the Melty Blood fighting game series. It was released in the 4Q 2008 on Sega Naomi hardware. Compared to Act Cadenza, the game features three entirely new playable characters, as well as several new alternate versions of existing characters in the PS2 version. All characters now feature selection between three different fighting styles, known as Full Moon Style, Crescent Moon Style (most similar to Act Cadenza) and Half Moon Style, which changes not only the way in which life and Magic Circuit meters function, but also each characters' basic and special attacks.

The Sega RingWide and Windows port of Melty Blood Actress Again, originally for the PS2, updated with new characters, a rebalanced roster and some gameplay tweaks. It is the last game in the original Melty Blood series which follows the events of Tsukihime. Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code is an anime fighter with a strong emphasis on movement and featuring Moon styles, giving each of the 31 characters in the roster three different movesets with differing system mechanics. The Arcade mode has the same story as Actress Again, with the addition of new stories for characters new to Current Code (Powered Ciel and Archetype-Earth), duo characters who were without one (Neco & Mech and Kohaku & Mech), and Riesbyfe Stridberg, who gained an unlockable alternative route.

Darkstalkers 3 is the second sequel in the Darkstalkers series of fighting games by Capcom, originally released for the arcades in 1997. The game was originally planned to be released as Darkstalkers: Jedah's Damnation in the United States, but this title was only used in the arcade version. BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger is a fighting game developed by Arc System Works in 2008 and is the first game in the BlazBlue series. The game was originally developed for Japanese arcades and later received console and PC ports. The game is a traditional 2D fighter where two characters participate in a duel. Every character has a weak, medium and strong attack, as well as an "unique" technique, called a Drive attack, which is different for each character. Various combos can be performed by every character through careful input of regular and Drive attacks.

Yatagarasu Attack on Cataclysm is an original, traditional-style 2D fighting game with 11 playable characters that takes heavy inspiration from Street Fighter III, focusing on delivering solid game play and high quality production values.
