In the 3rd century AD, the powerful warlord Liu Bei accompanied by his blood brothers Guan Yu and Zhang Fei, begins to raise an army to battle his way across China to ultimately obtain the title of Emperor, and restore the Han dynasty. Throughout the story-driven campaign, the player will have to win 64 battles. Each battle has its own victory condition within a turn limit. The player will need to wisely allocate soldiers of multiple types and devise strategies to overwhelm an opposing army. Every garrison of soldiers are led by their own officers. The chosen battles will determine the outcome of the campaign and how the story advances. In between battles there are settlements where information can be obtained from citizens, shops that sell weapons and items to enhance the player's soldiers, and Liu Bei can meet with his officers to formulate plans for the next move.

Shadowrun is an action role-playing game.It was adapted from the cyberpunk role-playing game Shadowrun.The game is the second video game adapted from Shadowrun, and has a more open ended style of gameplay than its 1993 Super NES counterpart, Shadowrun by Beam Software. The game is set in the Shadowrun universe, in the 2050s. A time where the blending of technology and human flesh is common; it is around the time the Matrix, a huge computer network, came online, with the ability to jack into its cyberspace directly. It was also a time of magic renewal: a phenomenon known as The Awakening occurred, where magic returned into the world. Sorcery was once again possible, and slowly and seemingly at random humans began to mutate into orcs, dwarves, elves or trolls. This time of upheaval was not without political conflicts: mega-corporations began to control the world. But with their magic, native shamans threatened them and the world geography came to a complete change. The Amerindians and Elves reclaimed an area called Salish-Shidhe, close to the free city of Seattle, a major city in the newly formed United Canadian and American States.

Suikoden is a Japanese-style role-playing game with several unusual additions. There are three kinds of combat in the game, the most common one being the traditional turn-based party combat (players can have up to six people in their active party). Magic runes can be equipped on the player's characters which allow limited usage of offensive and healing spells. There are also a few army battles, where the player must control whole units of fighters, archers, magicians, etc., and one-on-one fights (duels).

THE CURSE OF THE AZURE BONDS adventure begins in the frontier city of Tilverton on the border between the great kingdom of Cormyr and the scattered settlements of the Dalelands. The characters begin as experienced adventurers who have been ambushed, captured, and cursed with five magical bonds. Each bond is an azure-blue symbol imprinted just under the skin of each character's swordarm. These bonds have dangerous magical powers that can take control of the characters' actions. The characters' quest in Curse of the Azure Bonds is to search the Realms for the source of the bonds and rid themselves of the bonds' terrible curse.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is the third Harry Potter game for the Game Boy Advance. It is the sequel to Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for the Game Boy Color, and as such, features similar turn-based RPG gameplay with additional puzzle elements. In turn-based battles, Harry and his friends must use the right spells and items to defeat their enemies. Outside of battles, you will take on quests and explore various dungeons. Inside dungeons, enemies are visible, so that it is possible to avoid combat. You will also need to use different spells to solve puzzles and clear obstacles.
