You can rediscover the timeless puzzle game Tetris on your Nintendo DS with Tetris DS. Now you can choose from six different game modes, all of which take advantage of the DS's touch screen. Mario Kart DS is the continuation of the long running racing game series that began on the Super Nintendo. It features 16 new tracks as well as 16 tracks from the previous 4 games, with each set split up into the Nitro and Retro Grand Prix respectively. Eight racers are initially available, each with two go-karts to choose from. A number of characters and additional karts are also available to unlock. New items have been added to the arsenal, including a Blooper squid that squirts ink onto the screens of other players and a Bullet Bill power up that transforms the player into a giant, fast-travelling bullet on autopilot.

A falling block game similar to Columns. The object of the game is to create a horizontal or vertical line of three or more blocks of the same color, which will then disappear. The remaining blocks will fall down, but won't disappear if they form another line. Every 10,000 points a special block will appear (the Acid Drop) which removes three columns of blocks and marks the beginning of the next level.

A tile matching puzzle game for the Super Famicom, the first in the Puzzle League series. It was later modified to feature Yoshi and Mario related characters to be released in the western regions, under the name of "Tetris Attack". It was also a downloadable game for the Satellaview that was broadcast in at least 4 runs between November 19, 1995 and January 31, 1998. Although the game was Japan exclusive, it did eventually see releases in the rest of the world in 2020 as part of the Nintendo Switch Online lineup.
Wario's Woods is a puzzle game similar to Tetris or Columns, but with a twist. Instead of directly controlling the monsters and bombs that are falling down, the player controls Toad who has to carry around stacks of monsters and bombs and to combine them in the right way. One bomb plus at least two monsters of the same color have to be combined to make them disappear. If five or more objects are cleared at the same time, a diamond will appear. Destroying the diamond will clear all monsters of the diamond's color.
