Spectral VS Generation is a 2D versus fighting game in which you take control of one of ten fighters from the Spectral Force series and Generation of Chaos series. The cause for all the fighting is apparently to decide who will claim the powers of the of the fabled Earth temple. The fighters to choose from are Ice witch Mayura, War gale Weles, Empress of darkness Roze, Northern knight Eril, Sword master Kryce, Aristocrat of Darkness Jado, Holy fist Ryuken, Explosion child Hiro, Wyvern of the East Drochimaru and Holy god earth. Each fighter has their own weapon and fighting techniques which include special attacks and fights are best of three. The game offers an Arcade mode, Training mode and Survival mode for single player as well as an VS mode for multiplayer.

An arcade version of Super Street Fighter IV was released by Capcom in December 2010, titled Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition. Arcade Edition added Yun, Yang, Evil Ryu and Oni to the roster, as well as changes to the existing characters.

The Last Blade 2 is a 2D fighting game which features anime-style characters that fight each other with swords, clubs, and even fishing poles. These characters pull off their special moves with that 'quarter-circle-to-half-circle' and 'double-half-circle' controller motions, reminiscent of Street Fighter.

The Last Blade is a fighting game developed and published by SNK and released in arcades in 1997. It is set in a fictional version of late 19th-century Japan and features a roster of sword-wielding characters. The game uses a weapon-based combat system with selectable fighting styles that emphasize speed or power. Its presentation draws heavily on historical themes and traditional Japanese aesthetics.

SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos primarily utilizes the command system of The King of Fighters series, incorporating light/strong kicks, punches, cancels and charging attacks. Unlike its predecessor, Capcom vs. SNK 2, this game lacks both air guards and a "groove system", instead focusing on quicker gameplay. Characters are provided with a basic 3-level bar system for executing super-special attacks with basic filling options attributed to strikes and damage. Additionally, the sprites from the various series received new models and some special effects were changed in the command lists (for example, the player cannot increase the damage of the Zujou Sashi used by Choi Bounge by tapping the buttons anymore).

Fatal Fury is a fighting game developed by SNK and released for arcades in 1991. Players choose from a roster of martial artists and compete in one-on-one battles using punches, kicks, and special moves. The game introduced a two-plane fighting system that allows characters to move between foreground and background lanes. Its story follows Terry Bogard and his allies as they challenge the crime lord Geese Howard.

These eight fighters all have unique abilities and strengths, but only one can be the final victor!

A head-to-head fighting game based on the 1994 Double Dragon movie, the game features a roster selectable which consists of "Double Dragon" alumni Billy, Jimmy, Marian, Abobo and Burnov, as well as 5 original characters as they enter a martial arts tournament to take out evil crime lord of Bloody Town, Koga Shuko. Unique features in the game includes destructible environments and a super move meter which fills out based on how much energy the player has left, giving weaker fighters a handicap. After defeating the default 10 fighters, the player faces Shuko's bodyguard, Duke, before fighting Shuko himself.

Notable solely for being "That Fighting Game with Izuna and Shino in it", Windy X Windam is a Nintendo DS Fighting Game by Ninja Studio starring (or "co-starring", if you prefer) seven fighters from a remote island kingdom called Gawain, a place where people empowered with devices called "Windies" are given the ability to fly. They, along with a mysterious "eighth" malefactor, have assembled for a tournament, wherein the winner will have his/her one greatest wish granted. Aside from the flight and special attacks granted by their devices, the fighters also have the ability to transform (for a very brief period of time) into a more powerful form.
